INFORMATION FOR SPONSOR & TRAINEES
NOTE : Fees structure is subject to revision.
- Ø Each Trainee Officer is required to pay Rs.200/- as refundable Caution Money’. He has also to pay Rs.200/- per course towards Trainee Amenities Fund (Non-refundable).
- Ø Trainee-officers of DO & STO Courses have to pay Rs.500/- each as dissertation charges.
- Ø The rent for accommodation, electricity, water and other services are Rs.10/- per day. (May be revised during course).
- Ø All other College dues, including tuition fees, Rent for accommodation, Electricity and Water Charges, Caution Money, Subscription for Trainees Amenities Fund and Messing charges, for the entire Course are to be paid at the time of admission.
GENERAL INFORMATION :
- The Candidate must ensure that
- Ø Their application forms are fully filled in and forwarded by the sponsoring authority, i.e. Head of the Deptt./Head of Fire Services, before the expiry of last date of receipt of applications for the said course.
- Ø Their application forms are accompanied by the MEDICAL BOARD CERTIFICATE (Format of which is provided in the application form), duly signed under the official seal of the authority concerned. APPLICATION NOT ACCOMPANIED BY THE MEDICAL FITNESS CERTIFICATE FROM THE MEDICAL BOARD WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED BY NATIONAL FIRE SERVICE COLLEGE FOR ADMISSION INTO ANY COURSE.
- Ø They get allotment order of seats from this college.
- Ø The Trainee-Offices should study the Hostel Rules Carefully for strict compliance. Non—compliance of such rules may warrant disciplinary action and candidates may even be rusticated / expelled from the College.
- Ø Trainees should fill in the time and date of their arrival in the reporting register available with the course officer & also the hostel register with the warden, maintained for this purpose. No facilities exist for family members, guests, relatives and attendants of the Trainee-Officers. Messing and Laundry facilities are also available on payment. The Trainee-Officers are advised to bring their own locks.
- Ø Cots/Mattress are provided at the Hostel, but the Trainee-Officers should bring their own bed-lines, blankets, mosquito-net and pillows. The Trainee-Officers must equip themselves with sufficient summer or winter clothing, depending upon the season during which they will be at the college.
- Ø The College hostel has its own messing/catering system and is obligatory that the Trainee-Officers take their meals etc. from this Caterer / mess only, on payment of charges, as may be fixed from time to time.
- Ø In case, a candidate is found using unfair means during examination or violates other rules of discipline, he can be restricted / expelled from the college and in case of sponsored candidate, his department will be informed to take disciplinary action against him.
- Ø The ministry / Deptt., while sponsoring candidates for various courses should intimate the seniority for admissions in forwarding letter to avoid any litigations.
- Ø Applications of candidates belonging to the Central / State Govt. undertakings, Municipalities / Municipal Corporations and Public Sector Undertakings must be routed through their parent Ministries. Reservation of seats is not done in any case.
WARNING :
If any candidate approaches to this college directly or indirectly regarding admission, his candidature shall stand cancelled and strict action will be taken against him.
- TRAINING KITS :
- The candidates should be fully equipped with uniform whilst undergoing training at the college. No uniform / articles will be issued by the College. They must bring the following items at the time of joining the Course :
- Ø Two shirt (Khakhi)
- Ø Two pants (Khakhi)
- Ø Two pairs of Overalls (Khakhi)
- Ø One pair of brown boots.
- Ø One pair of gum boots
- Ø One pair of white P.T. Shorts.
- Ø One pair of P.T. Canvas Shoes.
- Ø Maroon Lanyard with whistle.
- Ø Brown belt (Leather) with monogram (NFSC).
- Ø Helmet (Yellow for Sub-Officers Course, White for Station Officers’ and Instructors’ Course).
- Ø Two pairs socks (Khakhi & White)
- Ø Peak cap with batch (NFSC).
- Ø Metal title shoulders (NFSC).
- Ø The Trainee-Officers must be properly dressed at all times according the occasion.
